Izip has carried it's popular E3 Peak DS 28 mph model over virtually unchanged to the 2016 model year - everything except the suggested retail price which has been dropped about $700. This puts it firmly in a class by itself - the only full suspension 28 mph eMTB under $5,500! Check out the spec set and you will see that this bike is the best value in an eMTB today. All the power of IZIP's e-bike technology and the versatility of a dual-suspension mountain bike make the Peak DS the go-to choice for electrically powered adventure. This top of the line IZIP mountain bike has the Currietech/TransX 350W Centerdrive motor tucked into the bottom bracket. It propels you simply with two modes: IZIP's smooth, torque-sensing PAS (pedal-assist) mode lets you maximize your range, while the TAG (Twist & Go) throttle gives you pedal-free power whenever you need it. Off road or through the streets, the aluminum frame, X-Fusion suspension fork and rear shock, 27.5-inch wheels, and SRAM 10-speed drivetrain maximize your speed, comfort, and fun.
This model will most likely be the last of the IZIP 28mph full suspension mountain bikes so get one while the supplies last. We have made a special purchase to get this bike to you at $2,000 off of the original IZIP suggested retail price - limited to stock on hand!
We have lowered the price of this full suspension, 120mm travel eMTB to just $3,399.99 - $1,100.00 off the original suggested retail price of $4,500.00!!! Get one while supplies last.
IZIP has decided to continue the Peak DS as a 28mph class 3 eMTB though the 2016 model year. This sets it apart from any other eMTB on the market at anywhere the price range. The included throttle operates at full power and functions from 0-6 mph to help you through those more technical trails areas and then will function through 20 mph while you are pedalling. We like to run this bike in power level 3 and when we need the extra power, just use the throttle to bump you up to power level 4.
The TAG feature is unique in high end full suspension eMTBs and allows you to better power through those low speed techical sections that you used to have to walk.
Hi-tech frame with 4-bar linkage with tuned fully adjustable suspension for rider weight and trail conditions. The proven Horst link full suspension frame features minimum chain growth for maximum efficiency with a full 5" of adjustable travel.
